My name is Erin Krug - and I'm the 'one-woman-show' behind Krug's Eco-Logic. I am a mother of two children and a former science teacher. After a few months of struggling with their sensitive skin issues, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I read anything and everything I could get my hands on about formulating my own unique recipes - I read up on oil/butter characteristics, qualities, properties, and precautions. I spent lots of months and LOADS of money on formulating my own recipes from scratch. I mostly have used family members and friends as my primary 'testers' of new formulations, but do my own safety/microbial testing. I love being able to have a creative outlet and work from home, while benefiting my children (and environment) all at once.
When I'm not spending time with my two babes, and soaping, I enjoy distance running ... and maybe ONE day, racing competitively again - perhaps after I hire someone! :-)
