For the past few years, we've had a "garden". I call it our "ghetto garden". It's not raised, but it's surrounded by a foot-high, white picket fence - which was meant to keep the critters out, but failed to do so last year and though we planted MANY carrots - we were able to sample a whopping ZERO.

This year, I'd love to start the growing season off with a raised garden area, though I'm a bit intimidated as I have never attempted this before and don't know where to begin.
I love these raised gardens from Scout Regalia . They're clean, neat, and seem to be high quality. These cedar raised gardens are also spectacular. Unique Home and Garden seems to have great tips!
Do you, as a family, grow your own veggies? What is your set-up like? Are you making any modifications this year? What type of wood did you use? Did you use a liner? Please share any tips or tricks in the comment section.
